This Karen Walker shirt is so fucking amazing. I wish to death that there was not a fighter jet on it and something else instead but the length of the shirt and the incredibly long arms make it so dreamy . I may be willing to forgo the graphic and wear this inside out just to have the arms bunched up like that. So killer and 30% off $105 doesn’t sound bad at just over $70.

Yeah so these new Repetto bags are hot shit. I’m set in the bag department but I love over the shoulder bags. I really like how long the second one is and it’s black leather amazingness. The first with the zippers and shiny sparkly is probably the only duffel I’ve ever called pretty.

How perfect are each of these shirts? The first is from Sophomore and so you already know you should own it in my eyes, super soft and the perfect cut. The second is from Acne and not only is the shade of purple the best but I like the slight see through aspect of it. The last is from Kain and bell sleeved + sheer have never sounded so good as they look on this shirt. I also like that it’s the longest of the three.

Saw this last week and loved it. So many amazing bikes in this flick, thee most amazing old Indian’s that every time they came on the screen I ooh’d and ahh’d. I hadn’t heard of this until a few months ago when I was trolling around Netflix looking for biker movies we haven’t seen yet. It just came out on DVD so add it and be stoked. Yeah of course there are some cheesy parts but this is a homage to all the cheesy biker films that have been made (that I have a sick collection of) and Dennis Hopper showing up in it made me smile, as did the "wings" story. You’ll have to view it to know what I mean though.

My Bittersweets wedding/engagement baby vamp rings.

B: What is your beauty routine?
Chanel black liquid eyeliner. Mac kohl eyeliner. Chanel eyeshadow. Bioderma Crealine H20 make up remover. Always alternating one of the many shades of Chanel nail polish I have as well.

C: What was the last item of clothing (for yourself) that you purchased?
Ann Demeulemeester brooch for my vest

D: Do you use a dresser, closet, or both?
My clothing rack or floor

E: What type of earrings are in your ears right now?
None but the only earrings I own are fake Chanel that Chris made before Alex & Chloe really took off and real Chanel I picked up last year.

F: What type of figure do you have (measurements)?
I’ve been a tall, lanky, tomboy my whole life

G: Do you wear glasses?
No I have perfect eyesight

H: What type of handbag do you carry?
My Alexander Wang moto chain strap bag. I’ve also been carrying my Charlotte Ronson SS09 tote bag like every day since I got it at the show.

I: What is your ideal style?
My whole wardrobe is black, with the exception of like two white shirts and some purple items. Tight jeans, boots, t-shirts, leather jackets. My vest is now always worn over my leather though. I’ve looked like a skate rat rocker my whole life and I’m pretty into it.

J: What is your favorite brand of jeans?
Ksubi, April 77 and Vans

K: Do you wear knee-hi stockings?
I have so many knee high socks it’s ridiculous

L: Do you *have* to wear matching lingerie?
Seeing as all my lingerie is either purple or black, it always matches no matter what. I tend to buy from the same places (Kiki) so there seems to be a understood theme in my lingerie drawer.

M: Do you wear makeup?
Only on my eyes.

N: Do you wear nightgowns?
Any sort of leisure wear grosses me out. I sleep with my husband every night and usually end up in the shirt he was wearing that day and Kiki whatever.

O: What outerwear do you put on when going out on a typical winter’s day?
Right now it is strictly my leather jacket with black denim vest worn over a t-shirt. Demeulemeester leather leggings or black jeans are a must as are big black boots.

P: What is your favorite perfume?
I picked up another roller bottle of Stella McCartney at Sephora recently. I keep it in my bag because I almost always forget to put perfume on at home (which is Tom Ford Black Orchid). I don’t think I’m willing to shell out big dollars for perfume anymore, the $12 or so for the Stella fits me quite nicely.

Q: Is your motto “quality over quantity” when it comes to clothing and accessories?
Yes. I’d rather have a quality piece that’s worth more than something that will fall apart quicker and is more likely to be seen on others. I am good at rationalizing quality items (aka "expensive items") because I know I’ll get all kinds of use out of the ones I really want.

R: Do you wear rain boots?
Technically all my boots are rain boots cause I don’t care about getting them wet.

S: Do you wear socks or slippers when your feet get cold?
Socks. Slippers fall into the pajama/leisure wear that I am grossed out over.

T: Do you have a set of travel luggage?
Alexander McQueen for Samsonite + the black patent heart quilted Betsey Johnson weekend bag my husband bought me two years ago.

U: What is your daily uniform?
Tight black jeans, t-shirt (I have been wearing Dash’s Bin Laden Youth shirt for the last few days, which coincidentally is one of the only white shirts I own but since it’s under my jacket most of the time you can barely notice it’s white) leather jacket w/ vest, black boots or classic Vans

V: If you are married, did you wear a veil with your wedding dress?
I am but I didn’t. If I had worn one I feel like it would had maybe been constructed of leather and metal mesh somehow.

W: Do you wear a watch?
My phone is clock enough for me

X: What item of clothing always makes you feel beautiful?
The outfit I wore when my husband proposed to me (all black again, tights, skirt, Ksubi racerback tank and Demeulemeester cardigan). I’ve since gotten so many holes in the tank from my old pyramid belt (which is probably more Ksubi style now) and tend to only wear it for special times.

Y: What is your favorite type of yarn?
I’m with Sanna and am saying the Rodarte yarn for sure

Z: Do you prefer zippers or buttons?

Had thee most fun rad epic impromptu dance party at our friends house Saturday night. Of course it started out as just hanging out enjoying the onset of cold weather and drinking and telling stories because we’ve only known these dudes for about a month now and they already think we’re some of the craziest most fun motherfuckers they know (said at about 4am with empty bottles everywhere thus uttered with brutal honesty). Once we started dj’ing it was hard not to dance around and everyone in the house couldn’t fight it when every song made you wanna jump all over. We arrived home with the sun coming up over the ocean and faces that hurt from laughing so much. One hit in particular which had everyone going off the wall was Lola. I really like the Raincoats version of this just as much.

I have been quite quiet about my admiration for Alexander Wang because I felt like I mentioned him sooo much here and while I know I can do whatever I want on my blog, I needed a break. I am bringing him up again now as I would like to send over a congratulations for winning the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award! Taking home a cool $200,000 is a nice award and I’m sure he’ll do wonders with it.

I was stoked to see this amazing purple dress from the Miu Miu resort collection now available . I do wish it was a darker shade as seen on Anouck but I still like it regardless. I cannot wait to see who picks this one up and how they style it. Me? I’m thinking Demeulemeester leather leggings and black moto boots. That’s what I’d wear on vacation anyway.

While it’s not hard to believe this was his hit single, his other shit is so good it hurts.

I know everyone raves about them but I’ve never purchased anything from Topshop. There’s never really been anything I couldn’t live without (ok the first Christopher Kane collection was great but I wasn’t going to sit around waiting for it online) and the idea of having to return something being such a hassle has just always put me off. Obviously the opening of the NY store will prompt me to have more of an interest in them and this is made greater by the photo Susie posted of this total Rodarte ripper Topshop was featuring in a preview of pieces to come. Hopefully it will be available once the shop here finally opens its doors and I can wear it forever and ever and ever.
That is unless Andrea can work her magic on this a lot sooner or I talk Lyz into revisitng old Obestity & Speed collections for me. I’d be okay with all three though.

This is yet another work in progress. Still debating on sewing the leather sleeves into the jacket just in case I wanna wear a hoodie underneath it instead. Half of this came off other jackets I have and some of it I’ve been saving for years for the perfect setup. I’ve already spent a while with dental floss in hand sewing everything on and I don’t know if I’m done yet, still waiting on these Motörhead pins to come in. My friend Chris made these Chanel pins and since we’ve yet to make Closet Crust pins, that one serves as sort of an inside joke. Anyway, I am so fucking stoked on wearing this vest right now. Haven’t taken it off all week. These photos are kinda dark so here’s a better one all lit up.
