So just as I was talking about the Mail Order Monsters show in Athens, Kathy put up some photos from the opening and I must say how incredibly amazing is the giant Aurel Schmidt burnout?! Like, can I just take that home and put if over one of my walls. Pretty proud of her for delivering such an amazing piece with all kinds of gnarly details. Photos of the progression and final product below.
The gnarly details I mentioned? Condoms full of yogurt, (fake) used tampons, cigarette packs, banana peels and donuts all strung together and obviously pouring out from the eyes. Amazing.
