Exactly how much do I like this Ann Demeulemeester vest ? A whole fucking lot. It’s not available until September so that gives me time to think it over but I swear, I’d wear it open like how it’s shown here and just knowing that it will drape perfectly like a Rick Owens leather makes me like it even more. Below is variants of it on the f/w 08 runway (which is how it will look on me, minus the hat & purple top underneath). I’d kill for that middle coat which is obviously not the same fur but just as good.
I know Moz would be super bummed on me for wearing this but sorry! I can already see my leather jacket clad arms sticking out from the sides.

I just sat down to read the July Elle I received in the mail today and what do you know, Mary Kate Olsen is running the Demeulemeester vest! Ahh! First my Chanel sunglasses (ok, that was her sister but whatever) and now this!

love it. reminds me (kinda) of the ivory sherpa kinda vests ghesquiere did a couple years back (the collection with the white cotton bubble dresses and shearling bombers) but much plusher. AMAZING.
It is very MKA. For some reason it also reminds me of Big Bird on Sesame Street, but in a good way.
