echoes of romance gone bad
Great French flick we just got from Netflix. There isn’t much dialogue but everything is beautiful to look at/creepy as fuck. The main girl as a teenager pretty much resembles a young Beatrice Dalle and you REALLY can’t beat that. Overall, it was pretty much a perfect cinematic viewing experience.
If I had more time I’d probably go through it and grab the best stills throughout the film but frankly I see only myself really appreciating this so instead just go rent a copy for yourself.

Meet our new puppy Bambi that Ryan got me!!!!!!! Oh man is she fucking cute or what?!! Our 3 year old BT Nico is obsessed with her.
Despite all the rad jewelry I’ve acquired over the years, this old heart lock that we picked up at an antique store last year, which I put on a chain, is the only necklace I want to wear everyday.
Many, many years ago as a young mohawked punk who mainly only hung out with a large pack of skinheads, I ended up with a chain and lock necklace (of course) that chipped my tooth and was really the last straw at my second year of high school, when I was sitting in the office every single day to get checked out for what I was wearing that day and if I’d be allowed in school. I wore a lot of sleeveless band shirts (my favorite and most questioned was one from one of my old fav bands: Fleas & Lice), fishnets, big black boots and tight skirts but my vests and jackets (and things like my Cocksparrer shirt, you know why) were always a big problem for all the shit on them (my Riot/Clone backpatch was a big deal for some reason) but the lock and chain necklace was deemed a weapon and seeing as my junkie boyfriend threw out the key, I had to go to a locksmith who happily took his bolt cutters to my neck and there went the “weapon.” Shortly thereafter, I bailed, they asked me not to come back etc and that’s a whole other story I don’t need to tell here.
