 Our couch… Scored the Missoni blanket at Target the other day totally marked down. It was the only thing I wanted from the whole collection and I never saw it in the store so I figured oh well.. and now it looks sick with the ghost pillows on our Chesterfield.

Another total furniture score was this table we found three days ago at a thrift shop. Long story short, we got it for $8. It is UNREAL and everyone I know is in love with it, obviously, including my husband and I. It’s clearly old but we have yet to check the bottom to see any markings indicating who made it/the age but it’s fucking heavy and incredible and even if it was a year old I’d still be a total fan.

Oddly enough, my dear friend Jen McMillan (aka the brilliant brains behind Bandit Brand) recently gifted me her vintage Harley tee except turqoise and surprisingly the exact same print as the one Jenny is wearing above…. which I’m sure I’d never seen before..

Andre on Backyard Bill!! Of course because I’m terribly difficult to buy gifts for, when asked what I’d like for the upcoming holiday, I saved myself the money and requested Andre’s film “The Shoe” which I am so clearly in love with already from just a few clips. I’ll have to do a huge post on it once I open the present beneath the tree. I truly can’t wait!!

Absolutely love this new film from Todd Selby for Zara! Aside from talking about how totally incredible the video is, Lucy Chadwick’s look is completely perfect. Definitely makes me want to run out to Zara right this moment and see if I can’t get her whole first setup head to toe, I love the jacket especially she’s wearing at the market. Todd is seriously always killing it!!!

For all the shades I have, I still don’t have a pair with purple tinted lens. There’s a cheap pair of tinted riding glasses available at one of the million local motorcycle shops but I would really rather have these new 96 Tears sunglasses from FUCT. Totally ideal, especially knowing Erik’s inspiration for this pair. More on my favorite hat….

I have been on the hunt for a leather confederate hat ever since I first saw John Waters Cry-Baby some 15+ years ago where super babe Susan Tyrrell can be seen wearing one that’s been altered with a taxidermy duck! Now if I had known I’d grow up and marry the man of my dreams who would become a Taxidermist, well, I could have imagined her exact hat and not just the confed itself. Anyhow, now that I found my pride & joy in a leather keppie (excluding the first one I found a few years ago that is too big for me), check out my original favorite in some shots I grabbed last night skipping through the film on Ramona Ricketts up there, hitched to Uncle Belvedere aka Iggy Pop. Oh and basically that second to last shot is Ryan & I exactly. I’ve known trashy classy was my thing for a number of years but I wouldn’t be surprised if Ms Ricketts lands a Style Icon page in Nylon or whatever next month.

Interesting side-note, turns out Susan Tyrrell is pretty bitchin’ in real life. I read this article last night and was surprised to learn she lost both her legs kinda recently. Pretty fucked up.
