I’ve been trying to keep track of the first album I play everyday and here’s the last week…

The Doors reel to reel was a sick flea market find a few months ago, kind of my favorite thing ever, stamped March 1971… White Witch (and accompanying albums) I picked up at the Wednesday flea, I had never heard W.W. before but turns out, it was a dollar well spent…

My husband Ryan (THETAXIDERMIST) finished up this commissioned bondage Raccoon for my BFFFFFF Caroline Snow (who previously photographed him here). I snapped this photo unfinished but will grab another when we ship it. I’m so totally in love with this piece and almost can’t stand to see it go!
(FYI: He started counting the taxidermy in our house the other day and I caught him midway at 100…)

I’ve been absolutely in love with shoots like these for as long as I can remember. (You could seemingly find many photographic examples of this if you were to go through my archives). Blame it on growing up on the beach wearing boots, jeans and jackets there constantly (still do). Needless to say, I was so excited when I spotted this shoot for Vogue Paris Novembre issue. This is totally my idea of perfection. With a motorcycle parked near by.

Interesting sidenote: Every time Emmanuelle Alt styles with Isabel Marant, the end result is always sooo Jennifer Herrema. Hell, I think Alt is maybe just a massive RTX fan.

If you know anything about designing a web site, get in touch with me! I can really make it worth your while if you like vintage gear! Or even if you don’t! Either way, I want to make my setup look a little different and I have no idea what to do when it comes to things like that. I know a lot of musicians but not so many internet web designers.

I kinda washed out the cover with the instagram thing (or my sometimes crappy ipod touch camera) but you get the idea, it’s a totally killer new EP!!

I loooooooooooove FRIEND OF MINE! I adore every single thing about them and have kept forgetting allll these posts I’ve wanted to write about them (managed to remember one, how could anyone forget about the Bon Appetit belt?) but hey, when their pieces get styled into a sick shoot like this, it’s hard for me to forget to post it.. at least for a few weeks.
