My favorite earrings are older than I am.
If you have any super old copies of Easyriders then you may recognize these from the back pages, where they were also peddled as necklaces, etc. I got them (about six pairs, four posts, two hanging) for a quarter each from our friends at the flea market. Total score.
By the way, the pink skull is a candle and is on the small side so these earrings are pretty standard ear sized, lest you think they’re oddly oversized.

Really stoked on scoring this vintage doctor bag at the flea market last week. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect one ever since Ann Demeulemeester made this one (that I was thisclose to buying) but hey, when you can find the one above for $10 including what came inside of it, it kind of makes a $1400 (or whatever it was, somewhere above $1K) bag seem not as covetable.

Got these three tapes and about 20 others for a quarter each a few weeks back. Somebody donated all of them (mainly TONS of metal) to the thrift store around the corner from our house and we completely scored. I mean, MOTORHEAD, REALLY?!? It was about as rad as getting the third Hawkwind LP “Doremi Fasol Latido” (once Lemmy joined up) for $.74 at a thrift store once. Can’t beat it.

As crazy as it sounds.. just moments after writing the last post on the PHENOMENAL Jail Weddings, did I hear from Gabe that he and the guys from The Starvies were all, for the first time in 8 years, at the same place at the same time last night and AS IT HAPPENS… The Starvations reunited for ONE SONG during this pleasing evening. I can assure you if I’d have known about this ahead of time, I would’ve been the first one booking a flight out there… but it was a spur of the moment situaish and I am just unbelievably happy that someone managed to document this one track reunion…

A brand new & AMAZZZING video from my long time friend Gabe Hart’s band, Jail Weddings! I remember when they first started and he’d call me from practice and put the phone down so I could hear a whole song. They’re so incredible. And, of course, do you remember The Starvations? They’re one of the best bands of all time and one of few that I will listen to until the day I die. Do yourself a favor, try and track down their entire discography (and a couple bottles of wine along with both Jail Weddings LP’s). You’ll thank me later.
