this world makes sense about none of the time
Portland in the 90′s/early 00′s turned out some of the best bands in existence, much like San Francisco in the late 70′s/80′s (ESS EFF is my example, we all know everywhere else that had incredible bands). Harum Scarum were one of the most amazing to come out of PDX, Tragedy and Detestation fronting up the shredding line up with a slew of mind blowing bands behind them. I still get chills listening to H.S. like I did when I first heard their demo tape a very long time ago. A band too good, too smart and too influential for their time who probably never got the recognition they truly deserved. A band who is very sorely missed.
