there’s a bluebird in my heart that wants to get out but i’m too tough for him
There are a lot of legendary guys who’ve landed their own Syndicate Vans and it made me smile real big to see that Kessler finally got his own. I spotted these on one of my favorite blogs Shipworm & Gribble for the surf shop MOLLUSK in Brooklyn. I don’t read a lot of blogs and I know these images just got released but it’s hard to believe it took this long for them to get to me. ANYWAY, it really makes me smile that Andy got his own Vans, it’s just so unfortunate that it’s after he passed away. They’re really sick looking, leather & suede and perforated. I’m hoping I can get both for sure. They’re so great and so are the small details that the Syndicate Vans always have. RIP(PER) ANDY.

okay jen these are pretty fuckin awesome kicks. they so win over some of the other lame vans that have been released in the last 5 years or so. so you approve of my new anns? it was a tough call because they were like $400-$500 more than the loubs and i also have the chloe sevigny shoes which are very similar in style. but i honestly could not help myself from buying them, they looked sooo good on the runway and i have a feeling they’re going to be my new favorites and i’m never going to take them off. plus the loubs were soo uncomfortable and pretty unflattering irl. i want to see your ann bag really bad, send me pics. xox
oh i also scored some pretty sweet marni wedges for so ridiculously dirt cheap on ebay, i’ll post them soon. they’re like ugly-cute in a 60s way, very marni. xx
