your time is gonna come

I was way excited last night to get home & find I’d received the new ksubi 09/10 eyewear lookbook!!! I love everything, naturally, and once again they had the perfect shoot to accompany the amazing set of glasses.

ksubi’s ‘Book Club’ collection was inspired by pop comic, steam punk and vintage. There are 13 unisex frames in a range of different styles such as digital printed leopard & layered color acetates with laser cuts in colors such as ksubi leopard print, leopard tortoiseshell, charcoal, navy, ivory frosts and fuchsia.

The 09/10 collection will be available this month through all ksubi stores: Paddington & Bondi in Sydney & New York- as well as over 300 stockists worldwide!!

Surprising as it may seem, I don’t own any ksubi shades— YET. I’ve had my eyes on several pairs over the years but either missed out or couldn’t get my hands on them. I’m looking very forward to checking out all of these in person at the Mulberry shop and picking up my first pair. I don’t think I could have picked better timing.

As if I could really choose one, the Bellatrix (photos 6 & 7) , Skeleton (photo 2) & Tiga (photo 4) are my total favorites right off the bat. I think I need to bring home at least one of them. It’s a MAJOR compliment that they are the only ones who will make me stray from my trusty Chanel shades: ksubi are just that good.

& some other rad news: ksubi have once again revamped their web site and you can find a whole mess of new things to look at, including all their past & present projects, collections and holy shit— FOOTWEAR! Well the last of which isn’t up on the site yet but you can bet I’ll be all over it when that hits.
