You guys are NEVER going to believe the TOTAL INSANITY that is this bracelet.
First up, take the very awesome Pamela Love & her amazing talon cuff.
You know the one:
Ok so you already have one of the sickest pieces in existence but then you find out your super RAD and endlessly talented friend Derrick Cruz of Black Sheep & Prodigal Sons is collaborating with Pam for a new take on the famous cuff.
What is Derrick doing exactly? Oh you know, just carving down some Woolly Mammoth tusk (seen above in the palm of my hand) into sick fuckin’ sharp talons, placing them in the cuff after first adding a scribe of both their names and a tiny diamond on one talon. No big deal. Yeah, right.
I mean, can you even BELIEVE IT??? How fucking insane is the final outcome going to be?!
Be advised: there are only FIVE being made & you’re looking at ‘em.
I’ve only seen them in stages of being made but tonight they will debut at Milk Studios for Pam’s show, where Derrick will be all set up in his own tipi inside (!!!!!) and so you’ll have to find out tomorrow how the final product looks but we already know it’s going to be the best thing ever.
Seriously though, I’d basically do ANYTHING to get my hands on one and never ever ever take it off but you know, we’ll see how that works out in the end.
A HUGE congratulations to Derrick on another incredibly successful and mind blowing collaboration (you must remember he just created a whole collection, Theft of Light, for the Odyn Vovk show as well). I can’t say enough good things.
