Now that’s a fuckin cover! New issue of Dossier is out very soon. Besides this incredible cover, featuring the ever elusive (I need to find it) pink Dolce fur coat, there’s also a big upstate party shot by the amazing Dan Martensen & styled by the wonderful Kate Lanphear. That description alone lets you know that it’s gonna be another killer issue but the rest of the new offering is so seriously jam packed with great shit that you’d better not pass this one up at your local newsstand or ordering it now before it sells out.

Oh, shit yeah… Sylvia Farago & Christopher Simmonds on The Selby.. nobody besides my friends Lyz & Josh on there have had an apartment quite like ours until Sylvia & Chris. Hearing that Sylvia is big into metal totally rules & so do her tattoos. I love their whole deal but especially these photos…. (it was way hard not posting everything here, I’ll be honest with you)

I love that her jewelry looks like an old Oz Magazine cover!!!

WAYYYY stoked to alert you all to SOPHOMORE FALL 09!!! Check back with me a little later for the debut of the lookbook (always extraordinary) but for now here are some of my favorite new pieces….

Blazer & leather vest.

Nearly everything comes in purple in this latest collection and seriously, can I just say right now: a PURPLE Sophomore blazer might be my most favorite thing on fuckin’ earth and I cannot wait to not take if off for many many many months. Really though, Chrissie & Madeleine might be the first people to make me want to wear white EVER because the bone blazer looks just as amazing as I’m sure the black and brown will. At the moment I own one blazer but I’m all for bringing the total up to 5 when these are released. As for the leather vest, do I even have to point out why this is so great?! Amazing!!

Goddamn how much more perfect does the dress get? Looks to be cut perfectly in every way shape and form. I don’t own any leisure type trousers but I’m thinking the purple pair could do it for me for sure. I really love that Sophomore love the shade of purple.

The buttoned top wins forever and always. The shirt, a nod to the classic film Heathers is just TOO GOOD and probably the only thing I’d ever wear with a cross on it (appropriately, BIG FUN can be found in huge letters on the back). As far as the leather skirt goes, just WOW.

The consensus on Fall 09?? Killing it!!!!!

SHit! How gnarly are these “Barracuda” sunglasses my pal Kerin Rose made?! Still figuring out when exactly would be the best time to wear these as you CAN see through them… slightly faded in a crowded bar (despite being ‘that guy’ wearing shades late at night, I’d rather have these on then have to make eye contact with so many assholes)? hangover mornings when the sun is just way too much in your apartment? Hmmmm. Kerin’s fans have probably blown them up already by wearing them in a music video.. get yourself a pair by pre-ordering them now!

I won’t be trading up my fingerless leather gloves anytime soon (or, ever) and surely not after seeing the other options out there, like these wool & fur Balenciaga mittens. They basically look like paws for humans and while I am all for monkey fur coats and bright pink Dolce coats resembling cartoon characters, I think these might be taking it too far, fur-wise.. epecially at nearly $900.

While Greg & I haven’t always seen eye and eye on bikes (he’s a sport bike kinda guy, I’m a flathead kind of girl) he is bro and I am always into supporting my friends in the awesome shit they do. I wrote about his company Deth Killers a few months back and was anticipating his new line coming soon. Well it’s out and he’s killing it, now known as Des Kiraz. They just released a few new shirts you might be into above, the top one is my favorite so far. Check out everything and read the story behind the shirts, Greg is a good story teller for sure..
