Definitely one of my all time favorite bands. When I saw them play a long ass time ago I scored the best shirt ever and unfortunately this dude I knew ran off with it. (the album cover posted on my playlist here on the left is the image that was on the shirt) I don’t even know how I let that happen but if by ANY chance ANYONE knows where I can find an old shirt I’d be way into getting my hands on one. I know a bunch of you are totally into S.T.R.E.E.T.S. too!

Can’t even begin to describe exactly how excited I am right now. I won my dream Demeulemeester boots on ebay and after the seller confirmed to me I had won, I told my husband and he exclaimed ‘Happy Birthday, baby!’ Cannot wait for them to arrive!!!!!!

Fans of Gossip Girl: You may have noticed this past Monday a few mentions of this segment that will air Monday the 27th called REAL NYC STORIES. I was so excited to spot my friend Chrissie Miller from SOPHOMORE in the brief commercial and texted her all "whoa what’s happening??" The gist of the show is they’re following around these real New Yorkers seen as real life versions of characters on the show. As the designer of the group of mini doc’s set to air, are there any guesses as to which Gossip Girl character Chrissie is seen as? A couple cameras hung out and shot a day in Chrissie’s life which includes doing a shoot for Nylon. You’re going to see a lot of familiar faces such as Humberto Leon from Opening Ceremony (who rep Sophomore), Cass Bird (an amazing photographer who shoots all the Soph lookbooks) and Madeleine Von Froom (Chrissie’s partner in crime with the line). Lookout for the 90 second doc to air on the last commercial break tomorrow night and catch the whole gang in action!
new ain’t new it is just new to you
The a/w 09 Ksubi shirt my husband bought me showed up today!!!! I spotted it at this shop in Brisbane that I feel like keeping a secret and I was obsessed. Upon arrival it is the softest most amazing thinnest shirt ever and much like my Volcom RTX Andreas Jenne shirt Kurt sent me (that I’ve been wearing almost everyday since), I will probably not be taking it off for a long, long time.
every messed up feeling has its day
Finally watched The Wrestler tonight… I’ve had it bad for Mickey Rourke for a long time and I was was kind of overwhelmed with excitement in watching this and I’ll just say I was not let down. It was phenomenal. My favorite Rourke fight scene though may come from the above, one of my favorite films on earth. My friend Jason scored me a copy of it on DVD a few years ago and I was just beyond beyond happy but couldn’t watch it for something like 6 months later. Seeing Bukowski acted out on screen is something that makes my heart skip a beat and as I watched it I remembered every detail chronicled in Hollywood .

A couple weeks back I got a text that Lemmy had just left Cappello’s house. They didn’t tell anyone until it was over to save on all the friends dropping by. I’ve been stoked on seeing the photos cause I knew they’d be incredible and Kenneth just put up some up on his blog ! You can read the whole interview with Lemmy in Spin online (& I only know this because Motörhead posted it on their blog)! My other favorite shots from the interview, although they ain’t by Kenneth..

You know I’ve never been into any capey (I spy them and alert Elizabeth immediately) but this Ksubi batman cape top is pretty much ON POINT & killing it. For everyone that got stoked on Pugh’s cape dress photos that Pete shot, think of this as a wayy more wearable and affordable piece and one you won’t mind passing out in when you get home at 5am and all you want is a big glass of ice water. I’m also kinda imagining cruising down a hill skating and arms out letting the wind blow the cape. No big deal.
Also, this brand new shop The New Guard is really winning with loads of epic pieces from some incredible companies. A new favorite for sure!

The new Fuct s/s 09 line launched today and wow is it blowing my mind. I’ve come to bro with Brunetti thanks to some friends and I was so stoked when I checked his blog, The Love Awareness Program , tonight after I got home to find all the photos up of the new collection- and oh man, they are all just so fucking good!
