Bruce LaBruce is a phenomenal filmmaker. I’ve seen several of his works and was elated when news of Otto; or, Up with Dead People was announced because a LaBruce zombie flick may just be the best thing ever.
When we received it a few weeks ago I was so stoked. We immediately threw it on and loved every minute. The whole film is seriously FANTASTIC and I definitely advise you all to go pick it up immediately, wherever you can, it’s also on Netflix . Be aware that there is plenty of gay sex as this is a gay zombie movie.
I could go on for days and days but the whole plot, the characters, the locations, the CLOTHING– everything is impeccably perfect. When we reached the credits I read what I had thought throughout the whole film, indeed the wardrobe in Otto was THIS GOOD because the costume director was none other than !
The jackets, cuts, boots, bags– absolutely everything everyone has on in amazing and LaBruce & Owens might be the best pairing EVER. Anyway, I knew you’d all enjoy the costumes just as much as I do and so I wanted to give you all this exclusive look…..
Katharina Klewinghaus is so killer throughout the whole film. Her wardrobe is simply to die for.
