Busy as fuck right now. Just have time to burn cd’s for Alison and catch up on all kinds of e-mails and write a bunch of radness for work. While I am on hiatus for a few weeks here, keep an eye on the Urban Outfitters Blog , Kill City & Street Carnage for the stuff I’m writing now to show up at regularly scheduled times.
Anyway, I scored these vintage boots today that I am so stoked on. They’re like a slate grey and although I wish they were black, they kind of give an ounce of color to my monochrome dark clothes and were just the boots I was looking for (a half size bigger than my actual size but they’re perfect) especially since I’m not a stiletto kind of girl and that’s all I usually come across. Sanna you would be proud of how I got them!

Those boots are amazing. I dig your playlist. Some I know, others I’ll have to listen to sometime. I love hearing new good music.
By the way, I heard “Badstreet.” I dig. I’m liking Witch too. I’ve never heard of them.

I just read your post on having too much stuff. I’ve been closet cleaning gradually for some time. I’ve just gotten to a point where I don’t like the idea of having a ton of unnecesarry stuff. I vowed at Christmas time to stop buying so much clothes. I’ve been given quite alot of nice clothes so that has cut my spending too. My rules are that I can buy 1. Unbelievable thrift store finds, 2. Band shirts (as long as I don’t have another from the group), 3. Shopping for special occasions if I really don’t have proper attire, 4. Something versatile that I can wear in different ways for years. Sometimes the crazy awesome looking things that I think I’ll love are only temporary obesessions. When it really comes down to it I wear the same pieces most of the time.
I think I like them more than if they’d been black, sort of an unusual color for this style.
