I've been closet cleaning gradually for some time. I've just gotten to a point where I don't like the idea of having a ton of unnecesarry stuff. I vowed at Christmas time to stop buying so much clothes. I've been given quite alot of nice clothes so that has cut my spending too. My rules are that I can buy 1. Unbelievable thrift store finds, 2. Band shirts (as long as I don't have another from the group), 3. Shopping for special occasions if I really don't have proper attire, 4. Something versatile that I can wear in different ways for years. Sometimes the crazy awesome looking things that I think I'll love are only temporary obesessions.
